Theme: All About Me, Discovering Myself and the World Around Me

In this classroom, our youngest learners have daily opportunites to learn about themselves, their senses, bodies, families and cultures. An emphasis is also placed on Social Emotional Learning such as making friends, sharing and cooperative play. Children explore themed units such as the Tree, Clothes, Ball and Building studies.

This is our Dramatic Play Area. In this area, students are able to act out scenarios, problem-solve, improve social skills and so much more.

Our Block Area highlights a variety of blocks and other toys. Kids work on their motor skills and the block area also helps our little engineers.

The Library and the Calming Corner is nestled towards the back of the room for some peace and quiet.

Our writing area is right next to our library. Here the kids can practice writing their names, letters, numbers, or anything they wish to practice.

This was our first STEAM project. The kids worked together to build a town and help find a way so travel can happen across the rivers.
